Don't Miss the Power! Story 2
In Story 2, Mary gives us a beautiful picture of worship; surrendering all we are and giving it to Jesus. Her story, which Jesus said would be remembered forever, gives a peek into true devotion, and on the flipside, spotlights our bent toward idolatry. Judas, the disciple in charge of the moneybag, saw Maryā€™s actions as a waste of resources. Money was his idol, and it had a stranglehold on his life and decisions. Itā€™s time for a heart check. Is there anything that you are holding tightly and will not surrender to God? It can become an idol, something more important than God in your life.
